Activate New Imagination

Human relationships can be viewed through “medical insight,” “movements of the heart (well-being and spirituality),” “relational structure (patterns and forms),” and “imagination.” PrivateGallery activates new imagination. Your own photos and others’ works shake your usual interpretations and help an image that has not yet become words arise within you. When you record them, you can later perform semantic search in natural language and lay them out in the gallery — from there, the next step naturally emerges.

Open

One image that “invents” your next step.

Your past photos and others’ images bring inspiration — a difference from your usual thinking patterns. Kept privately, you can search by tags or natural language and take time in the gallery. That difference settles into the unconscious and subtly changes how you choose.

Why photos work better than words

  • Realness (Objectivity): Fixes the moment and dampens the after-the-fact story (memory edits)
    • At the time it felt “boring,” yet the footage shows you were having fun → able to verbalize what was good
    • It felt like a “good move,” yet on video it falls flat → able to consider a better next step
    • Rewatching later reveals a different point of view
  • Distance: One image mediates feelings or intent that are hard to put into words
  • Recall: Brings back the desired “world” again and again

Mechanics that support inspiration

  • Random Gallery: Agitates fixed assumptions to spark a third interpretation
    • One tap to resort & regenerate (injecting serendipity)
    • Shuffle seed for serendipity that will never occur again
  • Deletion = Focus: Let go of a nonessential image and return focus to now
    • Deletion is an intentional statement in your record (noise removal)

1–1–24 (Treasure Magic)

  • 1 image: Choose one that captures your personal treasure (your photo / someone’s art)
    • Write one phrase on why it’s your treasure
  • 1 line: Add just one thing—tag / feeling / thought
    • e.g., #morning slant light / #quiet / “Negative space works”
    • Prefer natural language for easier search later
  • 24 hours: Search in natural language whenever needed and review it in the gallery
    • Morning: remind your treasure → reflect it in your actions
